Crossing Blue Bridges Inc is a nonprofit educational and charitable organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting interactions between law enforcement agencies and the community.
Mission Statement
Crossing Blue Bridges, Inc.™ provides enrichment, educational and support services to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. These services include promotion, set up, coordination, and implementation of mentoring programs, enrichment activities and support services within targeted communities while collaborating with law enforcement. The programming each year, will reflect the needs of the participants and communities Crossing Blue Bridges, Inc.™ serves.
How You Can Contribute
Any donation, big or small, to Crossing Blue Bridges will be an investment into the future of our youth. Everyone benefits through community resources and education.
About The Founder
Ra Shana A. Dabney-Donovan
In July of 1999, Ra Shana A. Dabney began her career with the Hallandale Beach Police Department as a Community Service Aide. In June of 2000, she entered the Broward Institute of Public Safety’s Police Academy and in October of 2000, she graduated the academy with honors, becoming the first African American female certified police officer in the history of Hallandale Beach. In April of 2011, Officer Donovan was promoted to Sergeant. In August of 2015, Sergeant Dabney-Donovan was promoted to Captain. Captain Ra Shana A. Dabney-Donovan is the proud mother of four children, Rashard, Elvin IV, Ela’Ni and Zandra.
